Melanie Berry, Iberia’s director of customer experience, and Louise Leaupepe, Riyadh Air’s inflight experience representative, have been announced as the latest additions to the panellists fronting the Taste of Travel programme during World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) 2024. The Taste of Travel Theatre is a hub for educational panel discussions, live cooking demonstrations, and tasting opportunities.

On Tuesday 28th May, the panellists will delve into the impact of AI on all aspects of the airline industry and debate if it can be a positive catalyst for change. Iberia is the latest airline to join this lunchtime panel, alongside keynote speaker Max Pillong, director of AI & Data Analytics at Lufthansa Industry Solutions and moderator Lance Hayward, managing director and founder of The Hayward Partnership.

On Wednesday 29th May, moderators Simon Soni, advisor and interim leader at Simon Soni Experience Management, and Anne De Hauw, founder of IN Air Travel Experience, are set to spark conversation on the importance of understanding evolving customer behaviour, navigating the competitive landscape, and driving change and innovation in a dynamic environment.

Guest experience management experts Amy James, director of cabin crew and interim director of onboard experience at British Airways, will join Riyadh Air’s Louise Leaupepe to share their insights on upholding excellence in service.

The WTCE Taste of Travel Theatre is located in Hall A1 at the Hamburg Messe from May 28-30 2024, and is free of charge to all visitors and exhibitors when registered in advance.
