ABC International, known as a qualified design partner in the aircraft interiors sector, now also has manufacturing capability. ABC has opened a production facility in Lioni, Southern Italy, in a move that strengthens its position in the international aviation supply chain.
The facility, which spans over 300 square metres in the Avellino province, is equipped with machinery that enables the production of many cabin interior components, including:
- Cabin monuments (movable class dividers, partitions and fixed dividers, stowages, coatrooms, galleys, cabinets, lavatories and doghouses)
- Upholstery products (seat covers, cushions, carpets, curtains, antimacassars and decorative elements)
- Placards and external markings
- Small series and customised parts, to support short-term programmes by taking advantage of 3D-printing technology
- Cabin products (life vest rigid boxes, seat track covers)
- Branding elements
ABC International’s CEO, Rodolfo Baldascino, said of the inauguration: “With the opening of the new manufacturing facility in Lioni, we are taking a strategic leap, moving from being an internationally recognised design organisation, to also becoming a certified manufacturer. This enables us to provide our customers with complete solutions, from design to production, delivering greater added value through integrated end-to-end services”.

The new production site, designed in accordance with international standards, complies with EASA Part 21G requirements and has initiated the POA (Production Organisation Approval) certification process, which ABC expects will be completed within the coming months.
