Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), the aviation trade event dedicated to aircraft cabin interiors, will celebrate 25 years at the forefront of cabin innovation during the 2026 show.
This landmark edition of the expo, taking place from 14-16 April 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, will be the most ambitious yet, according to its organisers, RX.
The RX team has already sold 90% of exhibitor space at Hamburg Messe, which this year will include a ‘BizJet Interiors Zone’, an area of the show floor focusing on the business jet interiors sector. Hundreds of the influential interior companies, including Collins Aerospace, Safran, Boeing, Recaro, and Panasonic Avionics, and more than 14,000 visitors from around the world, are due to come together for the 2026 expo.
Celebrating 25 years of evolution
From its debut in Cannes in 2000 to its current home in Hamburg – one of the world’s major aviation hubs – AIX has grown from a single-hall into the world’s foremost and most comprehensive aviation interiors event. The event brings together airlines, leasing companies, MRO experts and suppliers, as a showcase of the latest products, designs, technologies and services, and a great networking opportunity.
Visitors can also attend the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) and the co-located World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE), to take in a broad spectrum of the passenger experience.
The 25th edition of the show in 2026 aims to cover every aspect of aircraft interiors, from cabin design and seating, to inflight entertainment (IFE), inflight connectivity (IFC), accessibility solutions, sustainable materials, and premium passenger experiences.
If you’re wondering why the 25th anniversary did not take place last year, the 2020 event did not go ahead due to the Covid pandemic, so it did not count as a year of AIX. The 2021 event was a virtual one, but still counts as an edition of AIX.

New for 2026: The BizJet Interiors Zone
AIX 2026 will see the launch of the rebranded ‘BizJet Interiors Zone’, an evolution of the dedicated Business Jet Interiors Zone which launched in 2020. This area of the show floor will see companies promote the technologies, materials and craftsmanship that can be applied to create VVIP, business jet and eVTOL cabins.
Business jet innovators and suppliers, including Jet Aviation, Fokker Services B.V., Townsend Leather, High Tech Finishing and more will be exhibiting, with further details due to be revealed soon by RX.
The Passenger Experience Conference
The Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) on 13th April offers a full day of insights into areas such as digital-first experiences, human-centric design, and sustainable travel solutions.
More industry insights will be shared at CabinSpace Live, an open-access which will run across all three show days on the show floor. CabinSpace Live will include panel discussions, Q&As, and case studies, with a focus on the evolving landscape of cabin interiors. The full 2026 programmes will be revealed at a later date.

Archana Dharni, event director of AIX, said of the 2026 show: “AIX has always been more than an exhibition; it’s where the future of the cabin takes shape. Over the past 25 years, it’s grown alongside the industry it serves, reflecting the constant push for better comfort, efficiency and innovation. This milestone event will spotlight how far the industry has come, and where it’s headed next, showcasing pioneering solutions that are redefining the passenger experience of the future.”
