The digitalization of the aviation industry is proceeding rapidly, creating ever-growing demand for expertise in this field. Lufthansa Systems is being particularly proactive in its search, and has launched a recruitment campaign, seeking ‘aviation heroes with IT superpowers’.

Lufthansa Systems is looking for specialists in a variety of areas, from newcomers to experienced professionals, from software architects, data scientists and DevOps specialists to ‘scrum masters’ and product owners. There are even roles for those who didn’t understand all that, with the company also seeking consultants and ‘aeronauts’ as well as mathematicians and physicists.

“With us, anyone can develop their full potential as an aviation hero,” saysOlivier Krüger, CEO of Lufthansa Systems.

Staff are needed at the company’s headquarters in Raunheim near Frankfurt, and at its other German offices in Berlin and Hamburg. Close cooperation with sites in 16 other countries and customers all over the world ensure an international environment and exciting, varied projects.

Tanja Altmann, head of human resources at Lufthansa Systems, presents the quest for aviation heroes in a video, which can be found online together with further information on vacancies in IT at Lufthansa Systems: aviationheroes.lhsystems.com
