Geven Group’s SkyTecno aircraft interiors division has joined Boeing’s Premier Bidder Program, a programme that recognises consistently high-performing suppliers to Boeing Commercial Airplanes in terms of quality and delivery. SkyTecno has received recognition for its thermo-acoustic insulation blankets tailored to Boeing’s 737 MAX and 777 aircraft.
Benefits of becoming a member of the Premier Bidder Program, which includes approximately 130 suppliers, include increased Request for Proposal visibility, additional consideration in proposal evaluations, and increased access to supply chain topics through exclusive Boeing conference events.
Suppliers must meet certain criteria to be considered for the programme. Firstly, they must have an Enterprise Supplier Performance Measurement (ESPM) rating of Green Quality and Green Delivery for both Enterprise and BCA (12-month rolling average). They must also be a BCA supplier with no major disputed commercial issues.
