High fashion: Delta Air Lines brings Missoni on board

The new Delta One amenity kits will feature Missoni’s signature textured zigzag pattern

Delta Air Lines is introducing new premium amenity kits, designed with the Missoni luxury Italian fashion house and facilitated by Formia, the airline amenity specialist. The kits are certainly stylish enough to use again, or even be offered as a gift by busy travellers.

The kits, available to Delta One (business class) customers, features Missoni’s signature textured zigzag pattern on the outer of the bag as well as the inside lining. The colour palette has been created exclusively for the amenity kits, to echo the view of the sky from the aircraft at 30,000 feet.

The kits contain products from skincare specialists, Grown Alchemist, in a continuation of Delta’s ongoing partnership with the Australian premium clean beauty brand. Other items include a bamboo toothbrush and toothpaste (Marvis toothpaste from October 2024), an eye mask and ear plugs.

The Missoni amenity kits will be available in Delta One beginning in mid-July 2024 on all Delta flights to and from Italy and Paris, before launching worldwide in September.

The Missoni theme will also be carried over into design elements featured in the Delta One Lounge at New York JFK, according to Mauricio Parise, Delta’s VP of brand experience. Items from the Missoni Home collection will be added to the space.
