July 21, 2017 – Through a new partnership, Singapore Airlines is making sure that its premium customers arrive looking fresh, clean and wrinkle-free – or at least their clothes will. The airline has established an exclusive first-to-market partnership with The Laundress – an eco-friendly detergent, fabric care, and home cleaning company – which will see a travel-sized selection of its clothing care products gifted to customers as part of the airline’s 70th anniversary celebrations.
The products will be available for customers traveling on selected flights out of Singapore in Suites, first and business class, for a limited period only, and the packaging is suitable for customers to keep for use on onward journeys.
The products designed for Singapore Airlines include the following staples, all of which are scented in the brand’s signature ‘Classic’ fragrance for a clean laundry smell:
• Crease Release: removes moderate wrinkles from clothing and fabrics, perfect for travelers on the go
• Fabric Fresh Classic: contains antibacterial properties that add scent while removing odor from its source, freshening clothing when traveling
• Wash & Stain Bar: cleans hard-to-reach spaces, spot-treats stains, and can be used for liquid-free handwashing
The partnership between Singapore Airlines and The Laundress was facilitated by Buzz, an inflight product specialist. “We are proud to partner with Singapore Airlines, one of the world’s premier airlines, to bring fabric care onboard for the very first time,” stated The Laundress co-founders, Gwen Whiting and Lindsey Boyd.
