FlightPath3D, a California-based developer of inflight maps and digital passenger engagement products, has been included in the 2025 Inc. 5000 list, a ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The ranking, in 4,725th position, marks a milestone for the company which was founded in 2012 and now counts more than 90 airlines and airports as clients, with its products flying on more than 5,000 aircraft worldwide.
According to the Inc. 5000 list, FlightPath3D has achieved 63% growth over the past three years, which has been partly driven by the company’s expansion into the business jet and head-of-state aircraft sectors.
FlightPath3D has evolved the inflight moving map to include a full-featured passenger engagement suite, with more apps, smarter features, and new tools constantly under development.
Recent product launches at the company include:
- Luci: an AI-powered inflight companion that delivers live flight details, personalised travel tips, and personalised, branded promotions linked to airline loyalty platforms
- Accessibility Map: a simplified high-contrast display designed specifically for travellers with visual, motor, and/or cognitive impairments
- Control Tower: a real-time view of the aircraft’s location on the ground relative to other aircraft, runways, terminal buildings, and airport features.
“We’re honoured to be recognised by Inc., and even more grateful to our customers whose trust makes it possible,” said Duncan Jackson, president of FlightPath3D. “This growth fuels our investment in engineering to continue building innovations that push the aviation industry forward.”
