International Airlines Group (IAG) has entered into a long-term partnership with Immfly for specialist onboard software services that will support the development and maintenance of IAG’s universal platform. The platform (.air) enables a digital customer experience, with built-in flexibility to tailor the offering to each of the airline brands within IAG (including British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling).

The announcement follows a long-standing wireless IFE collaboration of more than five years between Immfly and IAG airline, Iberia Express. With the new partnership deal, IAG now intends to enhance the .air platform with new features, products, services and retail opportunities designed to progressively unlock new revenue streams and increase customer satisfaction for the group’s airlines.

“The partnership with Immfly will enable IAG to deliver new personalised services and expand the product range offered to our customers across entertainment, retail and loyalty” said Andrea Burchett, group head, IAG Connect at International Airlines Group. “We are excited to work together to develop services that innovate and disrupt the market by leveraging our combined knowledge and expertise for the benefit of our customers and airlines”.
