October 1, 2015 – Headphone expert Soundchip SA and Panasonic have unveiled a strategic partnership to enhance the inflight digital audio experience. The partnership will see Soundchip SA license its advanced audio technology to Panasonic, resulting in the development of a range of inflight audio products for airlines.

This latest development follows the companies’ collaboration in 2014 where they introduced Panasonic HD Audio, an audio solution for inflight entertainment which immersespassengers in a fully digital sonic experience.

Panasonic HD Audio is the world’s first fully digital inflight audio system, designed to deliver authentic, high definition sound reproduction, with audio features including hybrid noise cancelling, 3D surround sound, open-ear talk-through and VoiP calling.
