March 26, 2015: Sekisui Polymer Innovations, manufacturer of the Kydex and Allen brands of thermoplastic sheet products, has signed a purchase order for a new Milacron PVC Sheet Extruder. This purchase will give the company its 14th sheet extrusion line.

This Milacron extruder will be installed in Sekisui SPI’s new 375,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, with the line becoming operational before the end of 2015.

Ronn Cort, COO and president of Sekisui SPI explained, “This new extrusion line has been specifically designed to further improve our industry-leading lead times, quality, and product innovation. We have a long and successful history with Milacron equipment, and will continue to add additional extrusion capacity in the next few years.”

Last month the company announced the purchase of the Pennsylvania manufacturing facility (the company’s third), which has been built on a 56-acre site located two miles from the company headquarters. The thermoplastic sheet manufacturer’s other facility is the former Allen Extruders, LLC located in Holland, Michigan.
