Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics, a technology company that also encompasses the True Blue Power division, which supplies in-seat power units among other hardware, is adding a 28,000 square-foot extension to its headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, USA. The expansion forms part of the company’s strategy to support immediate and future growth, and to accommodate increased customer demand.

The company has selected Kansas-based design firm Alloy Architecture for the expansion project, which is due to break ground in autumn (fall) 2023.

“We invest heavily in research and development to propel our industry forward,” said Todd Winter, president and CEO of Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics. “Expanding our company allows us to grow our manufacturing facilities, in-house design, testing capabilities, and engineering department. This will attract new talent and add well-paying aviation jobs in the Air Capital.”
