Bombardier has entered into a collaborative relationship with GAL Aerospace for the development and aftermarket retrofit of interiors for the CRJ Series. As part of this relationship, GAL will collaborate with Bombardier to enable market-ready optimized solutions in support of the in-service CRJ Series fleet.

Bombardier has also given GAL Aerospace authorization from Bombardier to supply cabin interior aftermarket support for the new CRJ550 aircraft, which was launched last month. “Such nimbleness and agility provide our large CRJ Series installed base with complementary solutions aligned with lifecycle needs in aftermarket,” stated Ismail Mokabel, VP and head of aftermarket for Bombardier Commercial Aircraft.

“The great success of the Bombardier CRJ Series family of aircraft has created opportunities for the modification and upgrade of in-service cabin interiors, and GAL is fully engaged in fulfilling this niche demand,” added Jonathan Cornwell, VP of business development and sales at GAL Aerospace.
