December 4, 2015 – Plaza Premium Group has unveiled ‘Flight Club’, its new healthy airport dining concept, at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Located opposite the Plaza Premium Lounge on the mezzanine level in the international departures area, Flight Club offers a menu of western and international cuisines, with the emphasis on the use of herbs and seeds, from rosemary to oregano, and from chia seeds to flax seeds, with information boards in the lounge helping customers make informed choices.

Open around the clock, this 3,200 sq.ft. casual eatery has seating for 110 customers and includes a buffet salad bar, dessert display counter and a live cooking kitchen station. While dining, guests can enjoy views over the runway, with travel needs addressed through amenities such as charging stations, flight information display boards, TV, complimentary wi-fi, and a selection of magazines and newspapers. For those wanting something quick, a takeaway counter offers wraps with wholesome fillings or the option of creating your own wrap.

Flight Club’s signature dishes recommended by Chef Danny include a hydroponic baby Cos Caesar salad, beef cheek, rotisserie chicken, shepherd’s pie, grilled sutchi fillet, squid ink pasta, and locally inspired dishes such as golden fish fillet vermicelli soup, nasi lemak and nasi goreng.
