Measuring ultrafine particle levels on board short-haul aircraft


This film was shown at the 2021 Aircraft Cabin Air Conference to show that although the air quality in the cruise / steady-state phase of flight (the state when engine air quality is certificated) measures very low levels of ultra fine particles (UFPs), there is a pattern of increased UFPs during changes in engine power and aircraft air conditioning system configuration
