Economy class seats from Turkey-based supplier, TSI Seats, are available as a BFE (buyer-furnished equipment) option for installation on Boeing aircraft. The availability is being further promoted as, starting this month, the Epianka seat is being displayed in Boeing’s AIC (Airplane Integration Center) for B787 Dreamliner customers – this follows the seat being displayed at Boeing’s Renton Studio for Boeing 737 customers since the beginning of 2020.
Epianka is available for both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft with IFE (monitors up to 13.3in) and non-IFE options. As airlines can use the same seat platform for different types of aircraft, this can help airlines achieve consistency in the passenger experience across their fleet, as well as increasing efficiency in maintenance and operations due to the commonality of parts.
