Among the many lightweight seats on display at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2014, the sub-4kg per pax place Titanium Seat from French company Expliseat continued to attract much interest. For the 2014 show, the ultra-light seat received a few design tweaks, incorporating new shapes and high-tech materials for greater comfort. while retaining passenger safety and well-being features.
This young company is gaining in interest, following the granting of EASA certification, and the company’s first contract for the seat, with Air Méditerranée.
“This series of achievements shows just how radically the Titanium Seat changes the international aircraft seat market. The certification, the awards and the contracts, already signed or about to be signed; are all proof that passenger comfort is a key element,” said Benjamin Saada, president of Expliseat.
