Saudia Airlines, through Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) has selected the Thales TopCare turnkey service agreement for the maintenance of all Thales IFE systems on its fleet of 91 Airbus and Boeing Aircraft.
Thales will take 24/7 responsibility for all on-board maintenance and media content loading across three of its 22 global hubs: New York, Paris and London. Saudia’s fleet will be continuously monitored by the Thales Airline Operations Center (AOC), a high-tech mission control communications facility that monitors aircraft around the clock. As required, experts will be dispatched to board the aircraft to service the equipment as soon as it touches down at any of the three airports chosen as maintenance hubs.
