As part of its fleet renewal project, Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier, Flynas has selected the Geven Essenza economy class seat model for its fleet of 60 A320NEO aircraft, joining the fleet between Q3 2018 and 2026 (with options for an additional 20 aircraft).

Each aircraft will be fitted with 174 of the seats, with ‘convertible’ versions in the first four rows that offer more comfortable accommodation when the center seat is left unoccupied, complemented with a custom-made cocktail table.

Features of the Essenza (Italian for essence,) seat include an 18.3in seat width between the armrests; a primary structure and ultra-slim backrest designed designed to maximize shin and knee clearance and to mimimize weight; and lightweight cushioning.

Bander Al-Mohanna , Flynas’ CEO stated, “We are committed to constantly improving our service to passengers. In this endeavor these new passenger seats will further contribute to consolidating Flynas’ position as a leading airline in the Middle East region with a stylish, comfortable and modern air service”.
