China Southern Airlines’ latest fleet addition, of ten Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which are scheduled to enter service between 2014 and 2016, will each feature the Solstys seat by Sogerma in Business class.
Each aircraft will be fitted with 34 Solstys seats, each customized by China Southern Airlines to provide a fully flat 76″ bed, direct aisle access, as well as a private space featuring a dedicated PC power source, as well as USB sockets and the latest generation of IFE.
“Cabin interior design, especially business class, is key for an airline to position its brand,” said Jean-Michel Leonard, CEO, Sogerma. “We are delighted that to pursue that goal, China Southern Airlines, the biggest airline in Asia in terms of passengers flown and fleet size, has chosen our Solstys seat.”
