SunExpress appoints senior manager for products and services

Turkey-based leisure airline, SunExpress has appointed Nicole Jung as its new senior manager for products and services. Austria-born Jung will be responsible for the further development of the airline’s product portfolio to enhance the entire customer journey.

Peter Glade, commercial director of SunExpress, stated that Jung has specialist knowledge of her role, gained through earlier positions with major airlines (Lauda Air, Austrian Airlines and Eurowings).

“With the further development of the already highly innovative customer services, I have exciting work ahead of me at SunExpress,” said Nicole Jung, adding that she will be looking to add new products and service enhancements.

At Eurowings, Jung was responsible for leading the cabin experience. Before that, the trained flight attendant held senior positions at Austrian Airlines and Lauda Air, where she gained experience in recruitment, training, personnel development, change management, product and customer experience. Jung has a Master’s degree in communication and management and an MBA in leadership and communication from the Danube University Krems and the University of Anchorage in Alaska.
