December 14, 2016 – Boeing and AVIC/AIM Altitude (‘AIM’) have announced that they have agreed to work together to supply aircraft galley and cabin interiors in China. AVIC has a long history of cooperation with Boeing in the field of sub-contracting components manufacture for commercial aircrafts. The two parties signed a MOU at Zhuhai Airshow in 2012 to extend the cooperation into cabin interiors. This latest signing strengthens and furthers the cooperative relationships between AVIC and Boeing.

Xu Tongyu, vice president of AVIC International Aero-Development Corporation (‘AVICADE’), said, “After acquisition by AVICADE, AIM is proactively improving its sales and service network, accelerating its facility’s construction, and supporting Boeing’s B737 completion center project in China. Under the leadership of AVIC and with strong support from Boeing, AIM will continue to increase its competitiveness and better serve global customers.”
