STG Aerospace expands sales team

Aircraft cabin emergency exit marking and lighting systems manufacturer, STG Aerospace, has appointed Michael Savidge as its new regional sales director, a role that is intended to maximise the increased opportunities for the company as the world continues its recovery from the pandemic. The position requires experience in the development and delivery of commercial aircraft cabin interior products to Boeing and other key North American OEMs (STG is a Tier 1 supplier), which the company feels Savidge has acquired during his various roles in aerospace since 2006.

Most recently, Savidge, based in Marysville, Washington, served as the Boeing key account manager for Recaro Aircraft Seating. He also served as senior programme manager within Boeing’s seat integration team, leading several complex projects including Emirates’ high-wall suites.

“My goals for the role are to grow relationships with our customers and continue the great work to find new solutions for our customers’ challenges. It’s an exciting time for STG and I am looking forward to achieving great things,” said Savidge.
