DC Aviation Group has upgraded a Global 5000 aircraft with the Gogo Elite Smart Cabin System (SCS Elite). According to the company the aircraft was also equipped with an Inmarsat SwiftBroadband High Data Rate Service and a new satellite communication system.
The highly integrated intelligent cabin system enables passengers to control the cabin environment with a single interface, while the Inmarsat SwiftBroadband High Data Rate (HDR) system offers improved data transmission rates over the previously installed system. The satellite communication system can also be seamlessly adapted to new standards.
Jürgen Sehne, VP of maintenance & CAMO at DC Aviation, stated, “With the installation of the Smart Cabin System, we offer our customers the highest level of functionality and comfort. Thanks to our network, we have products that are technologically state-of-the-art and our know-how enables us to install them in a wide range of aircraft types”.
