West Entertainment has formed a partnership with Qloo, an AI (artificial intelligence) company, to launch Jetset AI into the airline industry, a system that applies intelligence to IFE content and passenger preferences. West Entertainment says that the system will create new revenue-generating initiatives for airline clients while strengthening customer satisfaction scores.

Qloo’s AI has mapped more than 750 billion cultural correlations across a catalogue of more than 150 million cultural entities and over four billion individual opinions. The AI partnership and machine-learning solution can predict consumer tastes across more than 12 major categories, including music, film, television, podcasts, dining, nightlife, fashion, consumer products, books and travel.  Jetset AI will offer completely anonymised insights and recommendations, adhering to regulatory standards in data processing.

According to West Entertainment, Jetset AI will enable airlines to build a 360-degree view of its passengers’ preferences, opening up new brand partnerships, and through deeper engagement, offer personalisation such as trip planning and destination recommendations.

West Entertainment and Qloo will be showcasing Jetset AI at the FTE APEX Virtual Expo on 8th and 9th December.
