September 12, 2016 – Jorge Mompo has joined digEcor as the new director of North America, Latin America and Caribbean sales. Mompo has over 30 years in the aviation industry and will be based in the company’s office in Springville, Utah.
Mompo began his aviation career in the areas of business aviation technical and support, subsequently moving into the IFE sector, where he held diverse engineering and sales & marketing positions in companies including Sony Trans Com, Panasonic and Lumexis, serving mainly the Americas.
In addition to the commercial aviation industry, Mompo’s experience also covers endeavors in the broadcast television and digital cinematography industries, where he managed Sony’s business development for Latin America.
