Safran Passenger Innovations, the new name for Zodiac Inflight Innovations (Zii), will be exhibiting a range of IFE technologies at this year’s Airline Passenger Experience (APEX) Expo in Los Angeles, California, on 9-12 September at booth #2142.
The company plans to exhibit new technologies and products including the RAVE Ultra series of 4K displays available in various sizes with edge-to-edge viewing, a slim design (the thickness of a cell phone) and integrated Bluetooth audio connecting the entire cabin simultaneously.
“APEX allows us to demonstrate our entertainment technology leadership and new corporate identity as Safran Passenger Innovations, part of Safran, a world-leading international high-technology group, operating in the aircraft propulsion and equipment, space and defence markets. The essence of our company remains the same, bringing innovation and leading ideas to the IFE market and making passengers happy as they fly all over the world,” stated Harry Gray, VP of sales at Safran Passenger Innovations.
The Safran Passenger Innovations booth will also showcase a number of interactive product exhibits including RAVE displays from 10.1in to 32in, a business class seat which will be used to demonstrate innovation for future applications, and economy class seats supporting fully integrated 13in RAVE Ultra 4K displays. The company will also introduce a global Connectivity solution supporting both linefit and retrofit solutions.
