Hot on the heels of its announcement that Luxair has installed XLume LED lighting systems in its Boeing 737 fleet, Bruce Aerospace has secured another two customers for the system: Neos, an Italian leisure carrier, and Argentinian carrier Aerolineas Argentinas.

Neos conducted the first B737 installation at its facility in Milan Malpensa, and the aircraft is now in commercial service. The airline is currently retrofitting the system to the remainder of its fleet of six B737-800s.

Marco Brusa, technical director at Neos stated, “We are very pleased with the Bruce LED Cabin Lighting System for our B737 fleet as it has enhanced the entire cabin, which will not only offer our passengers a more relaxed environment, it will save us money through reduced maintenance and weight savings”

Meanwhile, Aerolineas Argentinas has also selected the XLume LED system for its A340 fleet. In addition to the full-colour LED ceiling, hat rack, and sidewall lighting, Bruce Aerospace is also supplying white LED ceiling fixtures for the forward and aft galley areas. The Bruce Aerospace Mood Lighting system has previously been installed in the airline’s A330 aircraft.
