Air New Zealand and LSG Sky Chefs expand partnership

August 20, 2015 – LSG Sky Chefs has extended and expanded its business with Air New Zealand on a global scale. Beyond its longstanding partnership with the airline at its hub in Auckland, where the company just recently opened a brand new facility, the existing contracts for Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, London-Heathrow, Hong Kong and Shanghai have been extended by another five years.

Additionally, LSG Sky Chefs has been awarded new business with Air New Zealand for its customer service center in Buenos Aires and its joint venture operation in Tokyo-Narita, Cosmo Enterprise which was established less than a year ago as a partnership with Japan Airport Terminal.

“Our growth opportunities in Japan are enhanced as a result of our partnership with LSG Sky Chefs,” stated Masao Saida, President of Cosmo. “The decision by Air New Zealand to move to Cosmo in Tokyo-Narita demonstrates how successful such a strategic partnership can be.”
