April 6, 2015 – Under the terms of a new deal, Formia will supply Malaysia Airlines with uniquely designed amenity kits for the carrier’s long-haul business passengers. The kits consist of a Porsche Design branded hard case which, over the next two years, will be available in a range of eight colors, which can be collected and used for another purpose after a flight.

Each case contains various items from the Acca Kappa “Green Mandarin” toiletries range. Bearing the recently re-designed Porsche Design logo, the cases will be customized for MAS with a Batik motif, which represents Malaysian heritage.

Roland Grohmann, MD of Formia, said, “These luxury, customised kits reflect the airline’s approach to providing the highest possible levels of customer service. Porsche Design and Acca Kappa are aspirational brands which are sure to delight MAS’ passengers on every trip.”

Malaysia Airlines’ director of customer services, Dato’ Salleh Ahmad Tabrani added, “The new kit reflects the airlines’ brand aesthetics, with luxury amenities that is sure to keep every premium traveler feeling refreshed after their long flight. We are constantly looking into ways to enhance our customer service, as our guests deserve the best – and this includes creating an amenity kit that is both stylish and functional.

If you like amenity kits, read the special feature in the March issue of Aircraft Interiors International HERE.
