From March 1st, All Nippon Airways (ANA) will deploy the Bluebox Wow portable wireless IFE platform across 13 of its Bombardier Dash 8 (Q400) regional aircraft, which operate from hubs in Japan such as Itami, Fukuoka, Chūbu Centrair International and Chitose.
The systems, developed by Bluebox, provide wireless content streamed to passenger devices in the aircraft cabin, including up to 1.6 terabytes of film, TV, audio, games and other digital content, accessed through any web browser. The stand-alone, portable, lunchbox-sized units are stowed securely in overhead bins.
