JAL renews IFE content deal with GEE


January 15, 2016 – Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE), a provider of aircraft connectivity systems, operations solutions and media content to the travel industry, has announced a multi-year renewal of its strategic content services agreement with JAL Brand Communications (JBC), a Japan Airlines (JAL) subsidiary managing the airline’s IFE operations.

As part of the agreement, GEE will provide a full range of content services, including movies and TV, on international and domestic JAL flights.

Yasuhiro Fujita, president of JBC, stated, “This agreement between JBC and GEE represents a long-term partnership that is fully capable of enabling us to meet the evolving inflight entertainment demands of JAL passengers for years to come.”
