Acro Aircraft Seating has been selected to supply FlySafair, a South Africa-based low-cost airline, with its Series 9 Fixed Back economy-class seats. The seat model, which was launched in 2022 specifically for short-medium haul routes, will be fitted on FlySafair’s fleet of Boeing 737s (currently 34 aircraft), with deliveries planned from the end of 2025.
“We undertook a comprehensive evaluation of various seating options before selecting Acro’s Series 9. These seats stood out for their comfort, quality, and thoughtful design, while also offering the benefit of being lightweight, said Kirby Gordon, chief marketing officer at FlySafair.
