Recaro Aircraft Seating’s 15th Global Supplier Day, held at its Americas site in Fort Worth, Texas, brought together members of its global supplier network under the theme of ‘Partners in Performance’. The day had a conference element, with emphasis on collaboration, efficiency, and the importance of a resilient and high-performing supply chain, and indeed its highest-performing suppliers were recognised in an awards ceremony.
The awards ceremony recognised outstanding supplier performance and long-term partnership contributions across four categories.
SII Deutschland GmbH received the Non-Production Material Award in recognition of more than 30 years of partnership with Recaro as a trusted engineering supplier.
The Newcomer Award was presented to Caisting (Shanghai) Technology Co., LTD. for its rapid development in sheet metal production, its investments in manufacturing capabilities, and its contribution to supply chain resilience.
Artex Latvia, SIA received the Customer Service Award for excellence in dress cover manufacturing as well as strong performance in quality, delivery, communication, and flexibility in meeting demand.
The Production Material Award was presented to Berrang SE in recognition of the successful transformation of its hardware programme and its strong operational execution.
Mack Alu-Systems GmbH and Sabeti Wain Aerospace were also acknowledged for their contribution to performance in Recaro’s supply chain.
