American Airlines is updating its menu of complimentary inflight snacks on offer for its Main Cabin (economy class) customers, with a wider choice of sweet and savoury options. The choice of new snacks, available on select flights in early October, has been guided by customer feedback and testing, to reflect evolving preferences.
Morning flights will continue to feature the popular Biscoff cookie, which goes well with a Lavazza coffee, and sweet-and-savoury Goldfish crackers from Pepperidge Farm will also be offered. Goldfish will also be offered later in the day, as will the option of Tate’s Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies and a Peterson’s savoury and sweet snack mix.
“Small details can make a meaningful difference in the travel experience,” said Heather Garboden, American’s chief customer officer. “As we looked at our snack offerings, we wanted to take the time to get this refresh right by listening to customer feedback and understanding what customers value most. This updated lineup brings together beloved favourites and new choices.”
