Air France has won a prestigious design award for its redesigned La Première first-class suite, launched in 2025 on its Boeing 777-300ERs. The suite won a prize in the Aviation sub-category of the Product Design division in the 2026 iF Design Awards.
The suite is distinctive, with privacy options created by full-height curtains. The suite is also flexible, with a comfortable armchair and a chaise lounge that can be transformed into a fully flat 2-metre-long flat bed.
The suite gives passengers options to move between distinct spaces within the suite, whether sitting for working and dining, stretching out on the chaise longue to relax and perhaps watch a movie on one of the two 32-inch IFE displays, or sleeping on the 30-inch bed.

The La Première suite was created with the Design Investment studio in Geneva, Switzerland and seat manufacturer Stelia Aerospace (Airbus Atlantic), based in Rochefort, France. Key members of the Design Investment credited by the IF Design Award are Mark Collins, Alexandra Collins, Ariel Celedoni, Frédéric Tomasini and Jean-Baptiste Bruyère.

The iF Design Award was established in 1954, and now around 11,000 designs are entered for the awards every year. It is among the world’s most prestigious design competitions, with the winners decided by an independent jury of 129 international design and sustainability experts who evaluate every entry through a rigorous and transparent process.
