Hawaiian Airlines is the launch customer for Flying Food Group's OGG site

Flying Food Group (FFG), a provider of airline catering and hospitality services in North America, has opened a new inflight catering facility at Kahului Airport (OGG) in Maui. The OGG facility extends the group’s presence across all four of Hawaii’s major islands and marks the 14th inflight catering facility in FFG’s U.S. network.

The facility has got straight to work, commencing operations for Hawaiian Airlines, the launch customer for the OGG site, to support its 10 daily flights.

“The opening of our Maui facility represents another important milestone in Flying Food Group’s continued growth in Hawaii,” said Nicolas Rondeau, executive vice president of sales & marketing at Flying Food Group. “Launching operations smoothly from day one demonstrates the strength of our operational teams and the close collaboration we maintain with our airline partners.”

The opening of the OGG facility was marked by a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony, led by a Kahu, ahead of the official launch of operations
