Sogeclair, a supplier to the commercial and VIP aviation markets, including components, cabinetry and mechanisms for aircraft cabin interiors, has made new appointments to strengthen its presence in Canada and the United States.

Billy Darveau, a trained mechanical engineer with more than 15 years of experience within the group’s North American operations, particularly in methods and engineering, will oversee the overall performance of Sogeclair’s engineering activities in Canada and the USA.
As vice president for digital engineering in North America his role will include working to strengthen the competitiveness of the group’s offerings, developing new strategic partnerships, and supporting customers.
The second key appointment is Romain Dusan, who is now vice president for cabin interiors in North America. Dusan has more than 20 years of experience in aerospace and technology, and in his new role he will focus on strengthening relationships with customers and partners, supporting the deployment of cabin interiors solutions, and further expanding the company’s presence in the North American market.
Sogeclair at AIX 2026
Sogeclair has also shared its news for Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026, the industry event taking place on 14-16 April in Hamburg, Germany. The company plans to showcase three cabin solutions for the commercial aviation market, designed to enhance the business class and first-class passenger experience.
- Minisuite front-row monument: A reimagined front-row monument with an open, premium configuration for one or two passengers, making the most of available space and delivering an elevated travel experience beyond conventional front-row designs.
- Privacy door: An enhanced version of this increasingly popular feature, creating a more personal and protected passenger environment while enhancing privacy, acoustic comfort, and overall cabin aesthetics
- Meal tables: A smart approach to table surface optimisation and deployment, featuring two distinct designs: a single-piece business-class table integrated into the seat console, and a bifold table seamlessly integrated into the sideledge, designed to support companion dining in front-row minisuite configurations.
Sogeclair will show the designs within the Vista demonstrator at AIX 2026, booth 6D70L, Hall B6.
