Every year, as part of its Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Program (SQIP), Airbus presents awards to the top performers in its supply chain. In the 2026 awards, for the fourth successive year, Mankiewicz, a Germany-based manufacturer of aerospace coatings, has won received the Accredited Supplier award in the ‘Materials & Parts’ category.
Accredited Supplier status is the highest level of recognition in the awards, presented to companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance in terms of product quality, delivery reliability, and collaborative partnership.
René Lang, executive managing director, aviation at Mankiewicz, said of its success in the awards: “Since the 1970s, we have worked closely with Airbus, and we are very proud that our drive and commitment to process and product quality, as well as the outstanding dedication of our teams, are being recognised and valued by Airbus in this way.
“Recognition from a customer of Airbus’s calibre is the strongest possible endorsement of the service commitment we live by across our company. We look forward to continuing our close and trusted collaboration with Airbus,” he added.
