Diehl Aviation, a supplier of avionics, aircraft systems and aircraft cabin interior hardware, is preparing to officially break ground on a new production facility in Romania on 30th July.
The company says the new site, located in Craiova, in Romania’s Dolj region, marks an important step in strengthening the company’s global manufacturing footprint to meet growing demand in the aviation industry.
The facility will cover over 12,000 square metres and it main focus will be on producing components for commercial passenger aircraft. Around 75 employees will work at the site at launch, with plans to grow staff numbers to approximately 500 in the medium term.
