Lufthansa Systems today announced the official establishment of a new subsidiary, Lufthansa Systems India, headquartered in Bengaluru. Lufthansa Systems India will serve as a key part of the Global Capability Center (GCC), developed by Lufthansa Systems in collaboration with Infosys, the Indian IT company. The GCC will leverage technologies, including AI-driven innovations, to accelerate software and product development for both Lufthansa Group and its external airline customers.

Bengaluru’s dynamic tech ecosystem offers the ideal environment to grow our capabilities and attract top talent,” said Luigi Celmi, managing director of Lufthansa Systems India.
With the addition of Lufthansa Systems India, the company now operates in 19 locations, including major hubs in Gdańsk and Budapest, with a global workforce of around 3,100 employees.
