There are big changes underway at the leadership of Stellar Entertainment, the full-service IFE content service provider (CSP). After more than 50 years of running the company, founders Rob and Helen Lynch have transferred ownership to Sam Allen (CEO), Annie Zhong (CFO) and Daniel Jacobs (COO). Following this succession process, Stellar will continue as an independent business, under their leadership.
Reflecting on the company’s growth, Rob Lynch, co-founder of Stellar Entertainment said, “Over 50 years ago, Helen and I answered an advertisement in a Sydney newspaper from Qantas, who were looking for a company to supply boarding music. Drawing on our background in radio, we put our hand up and won. Stellar Entertainment was born.
“From those early days, the passion for entertainment never left us, and watching Stellar grow into what it is today has been one of the great privileges of our lives. What has remained constant throughout that journey is people. It is people who have shaped Stellar, carried its values, and made it what it is today.”
