EVA Air teams up with Hunter for premium amenity kits

Formia, a specialist in airline amenities, has partnered with and Hunter, a British outdoor brand, for the second rotation of its onboard amenity kit collaboration with Taiwanese carrier, EVA Air. The new kits are being launching alongside EVA Air’s new Taipei to Washington DC route.

The amenities collection, which will be offered to long-haul travellers in EVA’s premium economy class, is available in two crossbody bag designs made from durable ripstop material, in lemon yellow and sky blue tones. Each style of bag includes adjustable and detachable straps, and is designed for everyday use after the flight.

Hunter was founded in Scotland in 1856 as a manufacturer of rubber boots, and in 1956 it introduced the classic Original Wellington Boot. The brand has since evolved into a global lifestyle brand known for combining functional design with a contemporary colours and style.

Sustainability has been considered in the design of the EVA Air amenity kits, with 44% of the kit’s total weight derived from recycled or renewable materials. The bags contain a Hunter branded lip balm and body cream in packaging made with over 40% post-consumer recycled materials, as well as an eye mask crafted from recycled PET, a dental kit, and earplugs wrapped in FSC-certified kraft paper packaging.

“This second collection blends considered design with more responsible material choices, offering passengers something distinctive they’ll want to keep long after they’ve landed,” said Wilbert De Louw, co-CEO at Formia.
