Insperial, a designer, developer and manufacturer of materials for aircraft cabin interiors, has launched a dedicated colour, material and finish (CMF) service. The service is designed to support industrial design teams with the selection, integration and application of laminates, leathers and textiles throughout the cabin environment. The service can also extend to the exterior liveries of aircraft, for airlines, private jet operators, and the wider aviation industry.
According to Insperial, the service enables clients to align materials and surfaces coherently across every touchpoint of a cabin interior.
A key figure in the service is Lucie Weber, who joined Insperial as a CMF industrial designer in 2025. Weber began her career at the Decathlon sporting goods chain, where she worked on running and trail products, before moving to Dassault Aviation. She was first based at Dassault’s headquarters in St Cloud, France, and then spent nearly two years at the Dassault Falcon Jet completion centre in Little Rock, Arkansas.
During that period with Dassault, Weber specialised in leather development techniques including stitching, embossing, engraving and perforation, and contributed to the creation of client-facing finish catalogues covering materials, colours, and application areas. Her role also involved sourcing materials, integrating new finishes into showrooms, and refining material performance and assembly within aircraft interiors.
Insperial’s newest CMF catalogue
Insperial’s CMF catalogue is structured around three core collections — Organic, Essential and Elevate — each designed to support a range of client requirements while introducing new approaches to cabin interiors.

At Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026, Insperial presented Agoria Legend, a design range within its trends-driven Elevate collection. Inspired by Art Deco, the range reinterprets 1920s geometry and glamour through a contemporary lens, combining stylised motifs, sculptural textures and refined material finishes.
Featured materials include premium leather in tones such as Crimson Lacquer; Adhetec’s Ad Heskin FB and Adheskin CT textured laminates with geometric and organic patterns; and Alcantara print technology applied in designs including Agate Swirl and Fan Palm.
Further finishes include Radiant Scales, Veridian Maze, Velvet Arcadia and Whirlpool, with classic motifs delivered through leather printing techniques and Insperial’s backlight technology used to illuminate metallic accents.
“At present, we’re seeing the aviation industry looking to create more natural, harmonious moods inside the cabin,” said Weber. “We help them identify on-trend colours, refined material palettes and improved finishes, all with the goal of shaping a cohesive design language throughout the aircraft, where materials can work seamlessly together.”
“By collaborating closely with our customers, we ensure that every surface, from seat upholstery to wall panels and trims, contributes to a thoughtfully designed cabin experience, where colour, material and finish are considered as one,” Weber added.
Alexis Gabillon, group CEO of Insperial, said, “CMF has become a strategic differentiator. Airlines that invest in a thoughtful, harmonious cabin design create a passenger experience that is genuinely felt. Our dedicated, commercially aware design vision brings together the latest colour and material trends into solutions that are certifiable, scalable and built for aviation.”
