Retail inMotion, a subsidiary of the LSG Group, has launched an onboard retail program for Aer Lingus. The program involves a dedicated retail management team being appointed to drive revenues and cost efficiencies for the airline, as well as the implementation of Vector In-Flight, Retail inMotion’s onboard retail management software, to enable onboard payments, manage supply chain and warehouse logistics, ensure end-to-end reconciliation and provide back-office functionality.

Vector In-Flight has been implemented in order to increase efficiency and decrease complexity for Aer Lingus employees, and according to Retail inMotion the package has received “very positive feedback” from staff and crew alike.

“Following an extensive tender process, we are convinced that we have found the right long-term partner to develop our Bia and Boutique offerings into the future. Now that the new program has been successfully launched, we look forward to working closely in partnership, to further enhance our award-winning guest experience,” commented Mike Rutter, Aer Lingus’ chief operating officer.
