The International Flight Services Association (IFSA), a global professional body that represents the onboard services industry, has announced a big change for its 2026 IFSA Global Expo. The event, which has traditionally been co-located with APEX Global Expo in Long Beach, California, will become a dedicated gathering for the onboard services sector, tailored to meet its requirements, and those of IFSA’s 110 members.
The new-look IFSA Global Expo 2026 will take place at a new venue: the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, USA on 9-10 September.

IFSA says the more independent style of expo is a natural evolution for the event, and one that reflects IFSA’s continued focus on helping its members enhance airline service experiences and fostering stronger, more strategic partnerships between airlines and the supply chain.

The focus at IFSA Global Expo remains tightly focused on the onboard passenger experience, from food and beverage options, to sustainability solutions, to amenities, packaging, logistics, and new ways to address regulatory trends. IFSA says the expo is a show that people return to year after year “because real conversations happen and real deals get done”.
The decision to host the show in Dallas is strategic, as nearby Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of the world’s most connected aviation hubs. While the venue is new and the format is a little different, IFSA Global Expo attendees will still enjoy the experiences they expect from previous events, including chef demonstrations, thought leadership discussions, an exhibition floor, and high-value airline-supplier connections. There will also be a ‘Fun Night’ where the passenger experience community can get together in a casual setting.

While the 2026 IFSA Global Expo will be separate to APEX Global Expo (which will take place in Singapore this year), the event will be co-located with the Future Travel Experience (FTE) Global show. FTE Global covers the end-to-end passenger experience, which will complement IFSA Global Expo by bringing together experts in onboard services, passenger experiences and airline innovations, all while preserving IFSA’s distinct focus on onboard services.
