American Airlines is introducing football-themed amenity kits across its cabin classes in June and July, to coincide with the FIFA World Cup 2026 being hosted across North America. The theme is apt for the carrier, as American Airlines is the Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 26, in partnership with Qatar Airways, and the Official Airline of U.S. Soccer (more formally known as the United States Soccer Federation).
The kits vary by cabin. Flagship First and Flagship Suite Preferred seat passengers will receive a clear bag with blue leather piping and a removable crossbody strap. Flagship Business and Flagship Suite seat passengers will receive a clear bag with leather piping that converts between a belt bag and crossbody carry. Premium Economy passengers will receive a clear pouch with a removable wrist strap.
Each kit contains hand and body lotion, lip balm, after-sun cooling gel, and soccer-style socks. The after-sun cooling gel and socks are new additions to the airline’s amenity kit range.

Caroline Clayton, chief marketing officer at American Airlines, said, “This summer is shaping up to be incredibly exciting for American as the Official Airline of U.S. Soccer. Not only will we help fly fans to host cities on more flights than any other domestic carrier, but these amenity kits will help build excitement and passion for the tournament.”
American Airlines has added 27,000 seats across 12 new and existing routes to support fan travel during the World Cup tournament, and is providing 1.45 million premium seats over the course of the event. Members of its AAdvantage loyalty programme have already redeemed millions of miles for match tickets.
David Wright, chief commercial officer at U.S. Soccer, said, “The passion around soccer in this country continues to grow, and partnerships like this help turn that energy into experiences fans can actually see, touch, and be part of. These amenity kits are a creative way for American Airlines to celebrate the summer of soccer and help fans carry that excitement with them, from the airport to the stadium and everywhere in between.”
