Tailor-made luxury on board Starlux Airlines

A Taiwanese airline has embraced some distinctly British designs in its latest amenities for long-haul passenger comfort. Take a look at the results of Starlux Airlines’ collaborations with Savile Row tailor, Huntsman, and fashion designer, Paul Smith. The airline has also launched enhanced sleep and sensory experiences across all cabin classes.

First Class passengers onboard Starlux Airlines now enjoy exclusive loungewear created in collaboration with Huntsman, the Savile Row tailor founded in 1849. The London tailor is celebrated for its precision tailoring and understated luxury, and is known for its appearances in the Kingsman film series
The bespoke loungewear in Starlux First Class features Huntsman’s signature houndstooth motif, thoughtfully integrated into both the garment and its refined button-envelope pouch. The result, says Huntsman, is a discreet yet sophisticated expression of British sartorial heritage
For Starlux Airlines’ business class, the airline has partnered with British fashion designer Paul Smith, to create loungewear that balances classic tailoring with the brand’s signature playful creativity. Subtle multicolour stripe details—Paul Smith’s iconic design element—appear along the waistline, drawstrings, and packaging accents
The Paul Smith pyjamas designed for Starlux Airlines business class are crafted from soft, comfortable fabrics with relaxed tailoring. The loungewear ensures ease of movement and comfort on long-haul flights
In Starlux Airlines’ premium-economy class, the popular Smiley brand amenity kit returns in late February in two new colourways (Ocean Blue and Soft Beige), reflecting Smiley’s signature optimism and warmth while offering practicality for long-haul travel
Passengers in premium-economy class will also enjoy upgraded pillows, with new pillow covers developed in collaboration with Taiwanese brand Sleepy Tofu. Designed with skin-friendly materials and ergonomic support, the compact pillows are complemented by newly introduced slippers
Enhanced contents in the Starlux Airlines economy-class kits include a lip balm from British fragrance and lifestyle brand, Urban Apothecary. Infused with the brand’s signature Oudh Geranium scent, the balm adds a warm, soothing sensory note to long-haul travel. Urban Apothecary amenities will also feature as lavatory amenities in premium economy and economy class
Starting in April 2026, Starlux Airlines’ economy-class customers can look forward to upgraded long-haul amenity kits made entirely from recycled materials  The new pouches are intended to underscore the airline’s commitment to sustainability, while varied outbound and inbound kit designs add a collectible element
