Recaro Aircraft Seating (Recaro) has announced that it has achieved significant growth over the past year. As 2025 comes to a close, Recaro says it is set to surpass its revenues of approximately €576 million from 2024, with an expectation of double-digit revenue increases in 2025 and subsequent years.
Recaro hired more than 200 new employees over the past year across its global sites, to help meet forecasted ramp-ups in the aviation industry. The company’s Space2grow expansion initiatives are also continuing across the globe to manage upcoming and rising demand for aircraft seating. This includes a site expansion at Recaro Aircraft Seating Polska in Poland, which is being enhanced with a new production and office building, due to be completed the second half of 2026.
Additionally, at Recaro’s operations facility in Germany, seat production capacity is being increased by 60% and the production site expanded accordingly.
Recaro is also working to open a customer service presence in Delhi, India, which is planned to open in the first quarter of 2026. Another focus is its operations in the business-class seating segment, for which Recaro is investing in the training of operations and customer service teams to meet the expected higher volumes of output over the coming years.
In other developments at the company, Recaro has secured a Supplier Furnished Equipment (SFE) contract with aircraft manufacturer, Embraer. Furthermore, three Recaro sites have successfully delivered customer programmes of the lightweight R3 long-range economy-class seat. Recaro also says that its latest customer survey indicated an increase in customer satisfaction and a positive level of satisfaction among customers.
“The global Recaro Aircraft Seating team has been going the extra mile and jointly achieved a great success by reaching the 2024 revenue [level] in October of this year,” said Dr Mark Hiller, CEO of Recaro Holding and Recaro Aircraft Seating. “Recaro is experiencing double-digit growth and continues to invest in the Space2grow initiative with its expansion activities at all sites. I am beyond proud of the Recaro team’s achievements.”
