Japan-based carrier, All Nippon Airways (ANA), has entered into a contract to use Quvia’s Edge-to-Cloud network platform, which gives an independent, real-time view of in-flight connectivity (IFC) network performance and passenger Quality of Experience (QoE).
Quvia pairs real-time passenger QoE data with network performance data, which will enable ANA to proactively optimise its in-flight digital experience and optimise its decisions relating to IFC. Quvia uses AI to adapt connectivity and data movement around operational priorities, creating a ‘digital fabric’ between Edge and Cloud that helps applications, automation and AI work reliably.

Quvia’s technology won a 2026 Crystal Cabin Award in the Breakthrough Start-Ups category.
ANA has been investing in IFC technology, including expanding its offer of access to free, high-speed cabin wi-fi across its international fleet. The deployment of the Quvia system will give ANA consistent insight into how the connectivity systems are performing for passengers across flights, aircraft and routes.
“As IFC evolves, airlines need a consistent way to understand the passenger experience across the connected aircraft,” said Mike Moeller, SVP aviation at Quvia. “ANA is putting that foundation in place now, with better insight to guide decisions today and the flexibility to build on it as new technologies and digital capabilities emerge.”
